Abstract	有限元法在岩土工程中的应用越来越广泛。随着问题规模的增大,对有限元的计算能力要求越来越高。岩土有限元计算形成的方程组的系数矩阵具有大型稀疏对称的特点。针对系数矩阵的特点,采用稀疏压缩存储的方式,可以大大节省内存,使在普通的PC机上求解大规模有限元问题成为可能。有限元求解的大部分时间消耗在总刚方
