Other Abstract编者按：近期，中国科学院力学研究所非线性力学国家重点实验室的蒋敏强研究团队在金属玻璃的快弛豫调控和结构起源方面取得了重要进展，该项工作获得国家自然科学基金的支持，研究成果以“Splitting of fast relaxation in a metallic glass by laser shocks”为题，发表在国际学术刊物Physical Review B上。本刊特此发布该研究团队成员撰写的介绍这项成果科学意义的科普文字，以飨读者。
